The leak in the roof feeds the growing molds in what was initially a thin layer of dust. I stroke it, I sweep up the spores. Touching my face, the spores become part of me. I then take them to a different place, because I am a space invader. We all are. Each mark is a proof of interaction, violence, intimacy, and it is as sensual, as satisfactory as making a mark on fresh snow.

It is custom to offer plant genitals as a gesture of kindness.

Things are swirling. Droplets are dripping excessively from the tongue of an “ahegao” facemask and they penetrate our thoughts with desire, while other droplets take nutrients with them into soil. A residue of rusty water leaves prints of ropes behind when I readjust the dock lines. It looks like something tried to choke this boat and left an imprint. I check for specific patterns of growth in my drinking water, but my eyes deceive me by creating phantom patterns. Alternatively, matter is penetrating my vision itself; I’ve got floaters, “mouches volantes”.
